So, btw-what do you think FAWESOME means? It means fun+awesome. I know probably the best word ever (gotta give credit to Dave and Buster's they came up with it) to describe a fantastic event.
Anyways! Christmas break was nice and long. Since I am on a school schedule again-I was home for around three weeks! That was great, getting to spend that much time with my family and church folk. I got to catch up with a lot of people-some had some surprises for me that caught me off guard-all good though, no worries.
It is interesting because in the South, everything revolves around food. I made arrangements to meet with friends around breakfast, coffee, lunch, coffee and dinner! Whew! Let's just say, it was a lot of intake, but it was amazing and worth every penny!
It's just a different culture then DC. DC everyone is on the go and has their own schedule that you have to book a time to meet way in advance! I mean I love it up here, it's just a different culture.
Christmas eve, of course, was the best part. It honestly is the best present I could ask for-having everyone there together, along with my cousin's amazing (or fawesome whichever word you would prefer) cooking. I love how you can see all the cousins developing into their own person. Luckily, everyone who has gotten married, has married someone who loves what they love and who are passion about what they are passion about. Therefore, they keep what they love, but now only get to experience with their spouse!
