It's funny. Most of the time, we pray for God to bless whatever relationship we are in or to bless it with the person that WE have chosen. Once we actually let God choose, He pours out his blessings with all the windows of heaven wide open. This experience has given me an overwhelming peace about taking the next step with this person.
For those of you who know me-this is a huge deal. Marriage was not even in my radar until I was close to 30. Before I decided to date this person, I prayed, "God if this is you-I will dive in head first." And that is exactly what happened. I just had so much peace that that was the evidence that this was God. I am so thankful to find
"the one whom my soul loves."
Wikipedia defines love as, " an emotion of strong affection and personal attachment. Love is also a virtue representing all of human kindness, compassion, and affection; and "the unselfish loyal and benevolent concern for the good of another."
I don't even know if the word love is even strong enough to describe my feelings.
